Okay, Terri - I started a blog - the first question I have is when do you have the time to review all the comments you get to your post - and if you don't review them, don't you feel guilty?
Also, doesn't this really, really cut into your stitching time? I already don't have enough of that for stitching or quilting.
And then there's the guilt - do you feel guilty if you don't post in a certain amount of time? Is there a prerequisite? Is there a requirement?
And like you said in one of your recent posts - you (and myslef too) seem confident on the outside, but one the inside - not so much! So what if no one reads the blog...what if I decide I don't want one later - can I delete it?
Laugh often,
Sherry :o)
I am so glad to see you blogging, Sherry! Boy, girl! You ask a lot of questions!
ReplyDeleteI read all comments from those that leave them! it's like getting a little present when you see that count go up and know that someone has left you a comment. I don't respond to them individually which a lot of bloggers do, but because I work full time, have limited stitch time, I just can't do it.
Yes, this does sometimes cut into my stitch time but I've made some great friends thru this, been inspired by what I've read and had a great time, so it's worth it to me.
I went about a month without posting one time - I had a lot going on, was in a bit of a funk and just didn't feel like it. I felt a little guilty but it shouldn't be about that - it should be fun. If it's a chore, it's time to step back a little bit.
People will read your blog. Don't worry abut that! Post some pictures though of some of your fabulous finishes so it'll entice them to see what you're all about.
I am so glad you're here. Actually, I like your 2 column format - how'd you do that?
